It’s already some time that dutch Electro-Funk Wizzard SHOOK is delivering great remix after great remix for bands like Phoenix, The Ting Tings, Louis Laroche (a.m.m.), but he totally blew me away with last years “Rise and fall E.P.”, a five track bundle of playful, electro-FUNK-joy. he is also very generous with his music so for the x-time he gives away a song/remix he did for free: This time he teams up with Nottingham’s singer-songwriter RONIKA and the result is nothing less than modern, vintage sounding F.U.N.K.!!!!!! (as an extra, listen to the title track of the “Rise and fall E.P.”, which sounds like Roger from Zapp finally met Justice!)
